and what better way than to share this beautiful ballerina’s album. I haven’t updated the blog since November. Shame on me — I know!! I am hoping to get back on the ball. I also am trying to update the website or at least remove the Christmas music, pictures, etc. I hope everyone had a wonderful and happy holiday!!
Another Christmas has come and gone and it certainly was a wonderful Christmas this year. My only regret is it seems to take forever to get here — according to our girls — and then it is passes so quickly. I hope to share some of our Christmas pictures soon.
We are getting ready to take the girls on a surprise trip to Disney and we can’t wait! Unfortunately, Olivia has caught some type of virus — she has had a fever, horrible cough and congestion. Yesterday as we were trying to get her to take some fluids — we finally told them we are hoping to go on vacation soon and she has to get better before we go so she FINALLY had some chicken noodle soup. Chris keeps asking them if they could go on vacation anywhere they wanted to go where would they go — they always say DOLLYWOOD which drives him insane because he hates going to Dollywood!! He keeps trying to drop them hints about Disney — but they haven’t caught on yet.
Enough about us — my beautiful ballerina has so patiently waited on me to finish her album. I am almost done, but thought I would share some of the pages I have created for her album layout. I have a couple of more pages to finish and then we can sit down with Mom and Alyssa to make some changes before printing.
Mom & Alyssa — I hope this gives you guys some idea of what direction we are heading in with the Album. The album will be square and the page fold will be in the middle. Let me know what you think …

Hey guys! We took Evan on a suprise trip to Disney before Christmas- we went 2 years ago when he was 4 years old to the parks and on a Disney cruise. We didn’t tell many people because we didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag. Brian didn’t want to tell him until we were on the way to the airport! So, we ended up telling him the week before by buying him this Mickey Mouse nightlight. He opened it, no reaction. We asked him, who this was, where did Mickey live and so on. It still didn’t sink in! He had no memory of the trip to Disney 2 years prior! We wanted a better reaction than that! Finally he said “You mean I have to Ditch school?” A first grader worried about “ditching school”!!!!!! After that came the questions, day after day, when are we leaving? How many days left? Then on the plane ride, it was like it all came back to him-he was the narrator for everyone there! It was all good. Hope you guys have a safe and “magical” trip! Be sure to book the character breakfasts in advance!
