UPDATE ON CHRISTMAS DELIVERY

November 20th, 2007

We have just returned in town from photographing a “Take a Soldier” fishing tournament and USO show with the soldiers of Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA.  While we know nothing of fishing, the honor of being around these soldiers and getting to participate in such events — was unbelievable!

Once we get past some of our Christmas rush — pictures will definitely be shared!  Anybody that sees Chris needs to ask him about his boat ride!!  Anybody that sees our girls — ask them how the BAMA girls danced!  I still haven’t stopped laughing.

The deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery for galleries posted prior to November 19 is midnight Sunday, November 25.

If your gallery is posted/dated AFTER Monday, November 19, please order within 7 days to ensure Christmas delivery.

Please know that ALL the Elves at the studio are working as hard as they can to get your pictures posted and ordered!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thank you so much for your patience!

All of our appointments have been filled through the end of the year.   We still have a few openings available for our Mini Santa Sessions on November 24.

If you are the parent of a newborn (under two weeks old), please leave a message at the studio or send us an email and we will contact you if an appointment becomes available.

All orders must be placed and paid for by November 25th to ensure Christmas delivery.

CHRISTMAS ORDERING DEADLINE

November 7th, 2007

All Christmas print orders must be received and paid for by November 25 for Christmas delivery.

Grace and Olivia were “Dorothy” and “Glenda the Good Witch” this year.  When we got the costumes in the mail, Grace put hers on and we almost fell over!  She was so cute!  Olivia’s “Glenda” costume left a lot to be desired.

After a whirl-wind shopping spree for a glue gun, glitter and general gaudiness, Glenda was up to speed.  They both had their hair and nails done at Shelley’s Place and visited next door at The Glass Slipper where “Bam-Bam” (edited to ADD — Chris obviously does not know his Flintstones — it was Pebbles!!) dished out their first treat.

We went trick-or-treating with our good friends Jason and Shelley and their son’s Grant (Army man & same age as our girls) and Devon (a tall penguin?) Shelley’s nephew Tyler and neice Micah the baby bumblebee.  Other than Olivia’s trash can sized crown falling down over her head causing her to crash into the Lonesome Pine Beverage Company building all of our children survived our long chilly walk.

Olivia came down with a bad case of Grinding-Glenda-Glitter rash and Grace nearly froze her Toto off!  But over all, it was a wonderful, beautiful night with our children.  They really do grow fast.  We just have to cherish the moments now because I’m guessing we only have two or three more years to torture them to this extent.

Chris

Unfortunately it has been ages since I have been able to update the blog and I really don’t have time today — but between the phone calls and emails of people wanting to know where the new sneak peeks are at  — I knew I had to take just a minute to do something about it.   I have tons of more pictures that I want to share on here from some of our recent sessions and I hope to get them up soon.

This session was a DREAM!!  We had such a fun time with Roxanne and her Mom.  I know they probably thought we were nuts — which we usually are with our bickering back and forth about what works best and so forth.  With the fall of the year arriving our lighting schedule is getting shorter and shorter so we lost a lot of our light at the end of the session — BUT this is where some of my absolute favorite pictures came from.

Notice her perfect shadow outline on the brick wall — HOW ABSOLUTELY COOL DOES THAT LOOK?  We even used the headlights of our van during some of the shots.  I was like a kid in the candy store with these pictures — I couldn’t quit playing with them.

I hope you guys have found something you like!  Thanks for putting up with us Roxanne you were quite the trooper!!

I know I am pretty hard to catch anyway, BUT I will not be available in any form tomorrow or Saturday.   I have several emails and messages that are waiting on responses and please know that I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.

If you have sent an email or left a message at the studio please know that I will get back to you by Monday evening.

Sorry for the delay in response and thanks in advance for your patience!!!

but what more could you have asked for on such a beautiful day — well,  maybe, some dry underwear … but who can complain.

This is becoming one of my favorite spots to make pictures!  I love the ones of them kicking up the water  – watch little Ean’s face — the expressions are priceless!

She’s beautiful, dances …

AND let me drag her around in a ballet outfit!  She also smiled the entire time and never once complained — well, maybe once, when we attempted to put her in a window of an old building that really was creepy!

I had been wanting to do some different ballerina pictures for quite some time and Alyssa was gracious enough to model for me.  I was looking for something different, funky and fun — I think we achieved that.  The fabulous shots in front of that blue door were a complete bonus!

Enjoy!
